Setanta Construction was appointed to manufacture the primary roof components for the prestigious four-floor roof extension at Claridge's Hotel in Mayfair, London.
The project required a delicate balance between modern construction methods and the preservation of one of London's most iconic luxury hotels. Leveraging our specialist off-site manufacturing expertise, we delivered a precision-engineered solution that maintained the architectural integrity of the building while significantly reducing on-site construction time.
-
A total of 80 large dormer window units, complete with integrated balconies, were manufactured at our facility in Mid Ulster before being transported to London for installation.
Manufacturing the primary roof components off-site ensured exceptional accuracy and quality control while reducing the risk of disruption to the historic structure. The prefabricated units were installed as complete assemblies, allowing for a faster, safer, and more efficient construction process.

Our off-site construction approach helped minimise disruption to hotel operations, staff and guests while preserving the character of the existing building.
By reducing the amount of work required on-site, Setanta Construction delivered substantial programme efficiencies, with an estimated saving of more than 12 months compared to traditional construction methods.
The successful completion of this landmark project demonstrates the value of off-site manufacturing in delivering complex, high-profile developments where precision, quality, and efficiency are paramount.
