London based construction firm, Drive Edgware Ltd enlisted the expertise of Mid Ulster based Setanta Construction, manufacturers of bespoke timber frame homes and off-site construction specialists, to build the arched-shaped timber modules for this impactful barrel-vaulted ceiling at their clients residential site located in the heart of London.
A series of exposed birch plywood structural beams will run the length of the ceiling to create a tunnel-like atmosphere, giving a modern twist to a barrel-vaulted decorative ceiling at the luxury home.
Building a barrel-vaulted ceiling on the jobsite would normally be time consuming, expensive, and not always perfect. These prefabricated arched-shaped timber modules were expertly made and assembled at our factory in Magherafelt in only a few weeks, before being transported and installed at our client’s site in London to help achieve construction speed, cost certainty and quality.
