Triple Glazing
Todays triple glazed windows will provide an overall U Value of around 0.8 w/m2 k where standard double glazed windows will provide a U value of around 1.4 w/m2k.
This is a significant improvement and the good news is that the cost of triple glazing is only marginally more expensive than double glazing.
Triple glazing not only reduces the heat loss from the home it also helps to cut down on possible low surface temperatures which can create convection currents within a room which can feel like small draft
