Groomsport Passive House

Setanta were pleased to receive the official certification for the Passive House which we constructed in Groomsport Co Down.
Passive house certification was achieved by the following:
- U values to walls, floors and roof at 0.11 w/m2k
- SIP panel wall construction
- Mechanical Heat Recovery Ventilation
- Triple glazing to all windows
- 4.5kwp of Photo voltaic solar panels
- 2.1 m2 of solar thermal panels for hot water heating in summer
- Gas heating for hot water and a little top up of space heating in winter
